BHD was contracted by The Contemporary Austin to provide technical consulting services for “CATALIN” by Los Angeles based artist Charles Long. Working with the artist and institution we designed, fabricated and installed and installed all media playback systems including a dual channel piece projected on two sets of mechanical louvers. This work required the mechanical movement of the louvers to be synchronized and triggered with the video playback server.
